My friend and I were having a discussion about teenage girls, webcams, and porn sites. . . . This is a hypothetical question so don't get the wrong idea, the question is this. . . . .
Lets say a girl uses a webcam and records herself "doing things" when she is only 15 or 16 years old. Saves it to her computer or whatever THEN when she turns 18, she puts it on the web for all to see. Is it still illegal? I realize the legality will vary from state to state and country to counrty, but generally speaking what do you think?

I also have this same question.
Several times I've seen my husband checking out these young girls websites. And he took it one step further by giving her our phone number and attempting to hook up. Grose I know. He's always got an excuse like "I don't give him sex" I think it becomes illegal when they do meet at some hotel. I've noted that these girls give prices for their time when they do hook up.
My husband even had one over our house but said nothing happened cause she was too fat and he just couldn't do it since
he was thinking of me and how much he loves me. What crap.I was at work and when I came home found a open condum on my night stand (never used). He confessed the next day.

I'm not a prude you understand but I really dont think a girl that young should expose herself in a pornographic profile...It might tend to ruin her life later on if the wrong people see it (future bosses, husbands, etc)

as long as they were underage when it is filmed, it is still illegal, no matter how old she is when it is posted.
