yes, but the amount of weight loss varies from person to person. The reason being that the temperature in the car can reach 10 to 15 degrees higher than those outside, and the safety suit the driver wears also heats his/her body even further. therefore causing the body to sweat off masses of water. So what you actually lose is mostly water, not body fat.

Yeah...they sweat a lot during the races. If you ever watch a race and you see them when they get out of their cars, you'll notice that they are covered in sweat and drinking Gatorade. They sweat out so much that they are losing weight.

Yes it is possible because they are in that car in intense heat for several hours and sweat it off. But it varies from each person how much they sweat off, if any.
