bargain fruits in auckland?

Question

Any ideas where I can get fruits and vegs with a bargain price in auckland, nz?

Supermarket price seems a bit too expensive, chinese supermarket fruits most of the time doesn't look fresh (but cheap).

Any suggestion where else I can try? (close to CBD area will be my best pref)

have you tried the turners & growers auctions in panmure?

thats if bulk is your thing.

theres also a fruit n vege shop near by the zebra crossing at the round-a-bout in Royal Oak, on the same side as Pak n Save. cheap, and fresh. I shop there. the thai guy in there is too funny.
