It sounds like you're afraid of yet further turbulence in your life...that would seem natural,as most people want a quiet, steady life.

Well yeah, it does mean turbulence in your life. And if the tornadoes don't actually touch down, it might mean that some sort of threat might be coming. And you're watching them because you don't know what to do. And you feel that you're helpless to do anything. I can actually interpret dreams and ****. Sometimes, it doesn't always come out right, but I hope I helped!

The Freudian answer would be that your sexuality is storming and that you have some sort of fascination with phalluses, which are represented by the tornadoes.
Perhaps you are not sure yet, about what to do with your sexuality, or how active you want to be. Right now you watch the tornadoes out of a window, and you feel safe, since they keep their distance.

You are caught in a whirlwhind of events, which will destroy much which you currently hold dear. The path of the storm however is much refuted, and after the winds have cleared, new life and new hope can emerge.
You may find that after these hard times, your life will reaffirm itself for the better, and the tornado's destruction will have reinvigorated your windswept life.

I found this explanation
If you dream that you are caught up in a tornado, or see other people in one, or you are in danger from a tornado, then you will find all your well laid business plans come to naught and failure will dog your footsteps until you do something to change your chances of success; more education, better training or so forth.

dreams are dreams. you might of been watching something about tornado's. dreams are made up of the days event you just had. its the brain getting confused which confuses you, as in your conscious self. just relax. and try thinking about something else than tornado's just before you go to bed. think about someone you fancy and stuff like that. trust me, it works. try it and see. good luck.

I have tornado dreams, too. (They used to be tidal waves, but apparently my subconscious decided to branch out a bit....) I think you're correct....that it indicates some feeling of chaos or lack of control in your life. That is, if it means anything at all. Sometimes a tornado is just a tornado ! :)
