If love is really blind why do women wear so much make up?

I read a book once that said women don't wear make-up and dress the way they do for men, but for other women. Not that we're trying to attract members of the same sex, but that unconsciously we're in competition and it's a way of making the enemies envious. Something to think about.

Women wear make-up, push up bras, padded bras, fake hair, panty hose, girdles and high heels, because Society has made it clear, that women are expected to look, not natural, but perfect in every possible way.

I rarely wear any makeup and when I do it isn't very much. Usually if I wear any it is to go to a bar that is dimly lit anyway so why bother putting a lot of gunk on my face?

acutally I dress down alot when I start to date someone . That way when i walk down the aisle he's like OMG!!!
I have been dating my BF a little over a month and he's only seen me in a little make-up once . He's never seen me all decked out ;)

I very seldom wear make up and even then it's very little and not all kinds of it everywhere. I can see clearly now the love has gone! LOL...
