The obvious gold tones and pink tones of eyeshadow seem to work, but I have dark brown hair and not everything suits me. Do you have any suggestions?

sure! dark colors! Whats inthis fall is indigo shades. True its blue but its a contrast to your probably light blue. This doesn't mean glop on the eyeliner. Do a smokey eye look. If youve never done the smokey look, pick up a seventeen magazine. they alawys have tips on that or go to a counter at your department store and have them do it for you and watch how they do it.

Green (like sage or lite green-not dark green) Shadow, thin line down close the lashes, and a lite soft brown/gold shimmer above that and of course mascara.
I have very Blue eyes and when I do that combo I have received compliments on how my Blue eyes are standing out.

I read in the beauty "ask our expert" section of a magazine that terracotta eyeshadow shades are the best for making bue eyes look more blue.xxx

Use a little bit of blush just around the eyelashes; it'll really bring out the blue without looking like you're wearing makeup.

A bright blue shirt. I have really blue eyes, and I wore a really blue shirt one day for the first time,and everyone thought i got blue contacts!

My daughter has blue eyes and wears coal shade and blue or aqua colored clothing to bring out the color more!

i use white and light golds pinks and light blues and it works for me and i have light brown hair

get a navy or dark blue eye-liner and line your eyes with it. also wear blue close to your face when ever possible.
