First unplug the Internet cable from your computer and Press Ctrl.+Alt+ Delet at the same time, to get your computer back to main screen, and have a computer tech look at it if this happens a lot. Before you hire a tech person, try doing a virus check to make sure you don't have any viruses and anti-spy program check too. You could also clean up your disk under disk clean up on desktop area or under system tools. Also check to have disk defragmented too. Sometimes if there is too much stuff stored on memory. It will slow your computer down. You may need a bigger memory and/or change CPU depending on how old your computer is or what type of computer it is. Good luck.

It sounds like you may have a lot of viruses on your computer or spyware. Or it could be that your computer needs to be reformatted and the operating system reinstalled. You can try downloading a virus scanner program called AVG, it's free if you use it for personal use. Try Ad-Aware from Download.com if you don't already have it to rid of spyware. If you need free spyware remover, check Spybot, I think they may still be free to download. If you have rid of the spyware and viruses from your computer to no avail, it simply is time to reformat your computer. Backup all of your data, reformat your drive, and re-install your OS. Remember that you should install spyware and virus scanners before copying your data back to your computer in case they are infected. Hope this helps, take some time to take it all in.

Get a program called "Advanced System Optimizer."

It gets rid of spyware, fixes your registry files, cleans your system up, boosts RAM, and much more. All that, from just one program.

I use this program to tune my computer up, and it can fix yours too.
