I thought it was OK - the contemporary 'feel' didn't annoy me as much as I feared it would.
I wish they wouldn't assume that a 'family' programme has to have so much 'humour' in it, though (which is where I was disappointed with the first series of Doctor Who). Why can't they play the whole thing straight?

I was very disappointed. Kieth Allen was a very poor choice for the Sherriff, and he just acted like a petulant child the whole time. Robin Of Sherwood, with Micheal Praed, from the 80's is still far superior. Might give it another chance next week to see if Gordon Kennedy can improve it as Little John, but if not I'll be avoiding it at all costs.

More amusing than the Robin Hood I remember watching as a kid in the 1980's.

Absolute rubbish!! The actors are like dummies making it up as they go along. His sidekick is supposed to be foreign but without the colour or language.
Besides they use too many modern phrases and words, I shan't be watching again and I only saw 15 minutes.

Yes I saw some of it and it is made to sound modern to rope in the kiddies.

I thought it was good, but not as good as I thought it was going to be, with all the publicity they gave it.
I will probably still watch it though.
