Do you believe the "cop shows, & thrillers are based on facts?

Some are true, because sometimes truth is weirder than fiction.

Some are partially true, imbellished to make it more exciting or make it so the good guys win. As Law and Order on their ads, "Ripped from the headlines".

Others are fiction.

Surely you don't believe the Masons hid clues like in the movie "National Treasure" so Nicolaus Cage could find them?

Heck, I barely believe half of what the news says when it involves our national government. Especially when the gov't press releases the story.

Sometimes. All the Law and Order shows do their shows based on things from the head lines.

Of course, I do...just like I believe everything I read from Star, Globe & National Enquirer. wink, wink

Depends on who is telling it...Geraldo, Jerry Springer, Maury, Montel...NO

Storylines? We all know lfe is much worse than storylines, we couldn't handle the harsh reality. LOL

Cop shows? That is just another way for them to make money, that and corruption. hehe

Criminal Minds? Look how twisted Charles Manson, Scott Peterson & Jeffery Dalmer were..

And lets not forget fruitcakes like Tom Cruise w/ all his PDA, alien & Sciencology BS.

Most of it comes from the news, but they change a lot of things, I like pic kin out the mistakes when they say stupid things that could never be true or work that fast or way.

most of what they use is real life incidents. It would be hard to make up absolutely disassociated story lines. Even sci-fi shows have a basis in real life.

Of course I do! They wouldn't put it on TV if I wasn't supposed to believe it. To even ask a question like that you must be some kind of a lib pervert.

Some things but I don't believe everything on TV. I figure it out which is true or false.

I would never base my life on them or believe something just because of them

Absolutely. Don't you know that everything they show on television is 100 percent true!?! Especially the stuff they show on Fox News!
