Does anyone know/have tips on making a figure skating dress/outfit?

I'm doing textiles as a GCSE and i've chosen a figure skating outfit as my major project. I really need some tips on how to make a figure skating outfit. So, if none of you would mind- please could you help? Thank yoou.

my mom made me tons.
All i know is use four way stretch fabric.
and making these dresses dont happen right away, you have to start over many times.
