This has been "scientifically" investigated on some TV program, "Myth Busters" or somesuch. You get wetter if you run!

Would you believe people have wasted large sums of money researching this? If you run, you run into more water than what falls straight down, but if you walk you are exposed for a longer amount of time. Either way, you are going to get wet.

You would probably get more wet from walking than from running unless running makes you sweat more and causes you to fall down too many times.

You would get wetter by running as you would be advancing into the rain and the rain would still be falling on you. Whereas if you walked you would only get wet from the falling rain.

Walking. More time in the rain=more wet.

if you run, you will hit more raindrops head-on. if the distance that you are traveling is equal, then you would hit less raindrops running. if the time you are in the rain is equal, then the amount of rain you get 4 both should be equal.
