its cause the only race still being racists is the black race.
they like to speak in ebonics and act crazy in public, and talk innappropriate, but then they complain that no one shows them respect. this is not all black people, this is just the ones that actually complain. alot of black people have realized that there is no longer as much rascism left towards them , so they dont act crazy. the ones that cry about racism are the ones puttin the rascism out there like Dave Chappelle. just watch his show and ull know. he even said on a national interview that he would be mad if a white man used the word *** ger, but they showed a clip, and he used the terms honky cragger and white boy. and they try to sue companies cause 400 years ago their ancestors were slaves. thats just a scam and they try to use it, and every race at one point in time were slaves. what would happen if Hitlers ancestors had to pay all of the jews for the hallocaust.
im sick and tired of every one pointing the racism finger at caucasians.

Actually, it is not entirly the fault of blacks or other people of color that we get a bad rap.Politically correct, White liberals with a huge guilt complex and an equally huge influence in the media are responsible for that type of double standard.Just take a look at how much popularity producers like Norman Lear enjoyed in the seventies making sitcoms based SOLELY on white guilt. The sad thing is that shows like All in the family and Good times were pretty funny, whereas most of the shows that attempt to guilt white people,Men and whoever else is seen as a "Power Group" aren't even funny anymore, they just offer gulit. One thing both guilt and racism have in common is that they have never produced anything good at all.

There will always be racist people, since there will always be different races. BTW "colored" went out in the 60's. Black will do. Your Pimp My Ride sounded like good natured humor. If someone replaced my name with "black girl" I'd be irritated too, unless that's what her mom named her. That's unacceptable, no matter what race that person happens to be. Also, where are you from that black people don't like being called black? What would they prefer to be called? I guess maybe African American, but as a black woman that cannot relate to nor have any close relatives from Africa, I do not use that term, though I wouldn't be angry if someone else uses to describe me.

Humans do this, unfortunately. I was once labeled a racist (I am truly not) because I was having a bad day and stepped in front of someone instead of letting her go by first. She was of a particular ethnic group and assumed I'd stepped in front of her because I felt she should step aside. Truth was, I'd stepped in front of her because I was looking down and didn't see her at all. She didn't believe the explanation, absolute truth though it was. Even though I wear coke-bottle-bottom glasses, she still didn't believe I didn't see her.
That aside, humans will make alliances and exclude others simply because that's what we do. Other animals do it, too, in case that's slipped your notice. We should be above that because we are supposedly rational beings, but we're not. It takes careful training and self-control to rise above that natural tendency.
What we really need to get through our thick skulls is that we ARE different and that's normal and that's ok. The fact that I am considered normal does not mean everyone else is just like me. That's where racism comes from: if I'm normal, someone who isn't like me isn't normal. If I'm the standard, someone unlike me must be sub-standard. Put in plain writing, this can be seen for the nonsense it really is. However, when we allow it to cloud and control our thinking unchecked and unnoticed, it causes serious problems.
I'm with you. Racism is downright silly.

I've always been very disappointed in reverse discrimination. I have throughout the years helped the poor blacks in my area and others in schools that I attended only to be spit on later in life. I have heard some say "It's your turn" which to means that they are condoning racism and the whole discrimination thing of the past. Obviously they hadn't learned anything from Mr. King. What is even worse now is I am getting the same thing from Mexicans who have moved up the ladder to a more affluent lifestyle. They treat whites like garbage and so I don't support them in any of their endeavors anymore. They always try to pull off that "We are the poor people" thing and look for hand outs while they drive around in Navigators and Towncars. People keep feeling sorry for them but I've reached the end and have no sympathy left. From now on it's me and mine and forget them.

I hate it how white people always get the rap for being "racist" but it's the other races that are racist too.
Like I don't care if people put me down for being white I don't care at all, I'm proud of being white
But when people put black people down for being black they get all mad... it's like they're not proud of their heritage or something.
And some cultures have a very high criminal base but when they are criticised for it they brand everyone as racists. I don't get it either I don't think anyone will ever get along. It's just part of being human i suppose.
Oh and another thing I hate how when white people say they are proud to be white, they are labeled as white supremacists... thats bullshit because I am proud of my history and culture... other races often make having white skin and pale eyes something evil and something to be hated which is as much bullshit as having dark skin and dark eyes is something evil.
And I hate it how black people call each other Ni**ers but when other races call black people Ni**ers they get the smash. Whats up with that?
I wouldn't care if I was referred to by a bunch of mexicans as a "white boy", i AM a white boy so who cares? But sometimes if you call a black person a black person, they will give you the smash... whats up with that?

It does have a lot to do with what you are taught, monkey see monkey do! But as for the whole ebonics and all of that it starts with where you are raised. Most black people don't live in million dollar homes, so that leaves us in one other place the ghetto. In the ghetto that's how people talk. White people just don't like anything they can't control or understand.

I agree with the first guy, how people act how they were raised. My dad is way racist, and I am too. I don't do anything about it, but in my mind I am, and I hate it. I know that if my dad would have just kept his mouth shut as I was growing up, I would accept everyone, despite where they came from. To answer your question, people are STILL racist because society is STILL racist. We're kicking Mexicans out because we're racist right?

Race is a very low common denominator. The individual, regardless of their race, is what should be shown consideration. Racism as practiced by any race just shows ignorance.

Once reason people are racist is that they feel insecure about themselves and need to feel more powerful than others by putting them down. This makes them feel better about themselves and they think are more important than others. A lot of people may be racist because their parents were and that's all they know.
