Why not take him on a very romantic picnic or if you can afford it hire a sail boat and have a romantic evening some like that is better than a box gift. And have pic taken. and then have them framed specially for both of you. And if not a boat do it some other way. You can hire boats that also serve dinner and what ever.

This is a hard question. My boyfriend is like that too. he has what he wants when he wants it... and leaves no room for others to get the chance to get what he wants...
so we are left.. we nothing ... no ideas. Buy something simple, unimaginitive... and plain... for this kind of man its awkquard, and i should know...
try a simple fragrance that he hasnt got, maybe something traditional and old man style, a top or t-shirt that you know he will hate...
you'll be surprized in how much he will grow into liking it.

If he already has everything then he's either materialistic and probably wants something else (you just have to figure out what!) or he wants something that's not an object. Treat him to dinner at a nice restaurant and a movie, or treat yourself to some nice lingerie (if you guys are that close already), which will be a treat for him also.

Go to Oxfam Unwrapped where you can buy a goat or a toilet or a schooldesk etc for a village that needs it. Its a great way to make a donation and help people in a practical way. And how funny is it to say I bought you a toilet, its in Outer mongolia if you want to see it

although the 'kick in the jim bag' answer made me laff, seriously, www.firebox.com and www.iwantoneofthose.com specialise in gadgets and gifts that you mite not find on the high street, and firebox do tons of stuff in your price range for guys, theres loadsa boys toys on it, im buying stuff for my fiance off www.prezzybox.com this christmas, try that one too.
Let me know how u get on.
p.s - prezzybox and iwantoneofthose give you a free £5 voucher when you register with them too, but firebox.com is your best bet.
if all else fails, buy him a car (a toy one)
or a swiss army knife (www.swissarmy.com)
or a lottery ticket.

Buy him an experience, maybe a ride in a hot air balloon, or bungee jumping if he is really adventurous, or perhaps tickets to some event he would love but wouldn't buy for himself.

make him a home cooked meal at ur house and treat him to a romantic dinner. also, surprise him with chocolates and maybe an SNL dvd? does he have that. we have one and those r hilarious. then after dinner sit on the couch and watch it together....very creative and romantic. if he has everything he wants he seems spoiled...bring him back down to earth.

Get him some candy and make a fuss over him. One thing people who have everything never get enough of is attention.
