Instead of using mouse, you can use combined keystrokes on keyborad to do the job.

Copy: Ctrl+C
Paste: Ctrl+V

Sometimes, internet programs will also prohibit the copy function via keyboard. In this case, you might use alt+prt scr keys to capture screen images to your clipboard and do paste later. But again, some internet programs will also prohibit the alt+prt scr key conbinations. The only alternatives, then, will be using some commercial screen capture programs such as Snagit 8.0 to do the job.

Good luck.

Might be something wrong with your mouse but you can always use the keyboard shortcuts:

Copy: Ctrl+C
