yes, its a lovely earthy, damp but fresh smell. I love standing outside my backdoor at night or in the morning and smelling the air!

Yes, definitely!

My husband thinks I'm odd when I say I can smell the weather or the seasons, but i know there's a change in the smell of the air.

Yes, and I do not like it one little bit.

I am not a big fan of winter at all.
Reason why I do not like Winter:
1. Do not like dressing for cold weather;
2. Do not like winter events;
3. Do not like having the heater on;
4. Do not like staying indoors for the majority of the season;
5. Do not like having Cabin Fever.

Reasons why I do like Winter:
1. Christmas Eve and Day only.

Never really thought about it but now that you mention it. There is a smell of frost and crisp cold days. I love being all cosy at night with scented candles and you don't have them as much during the other seasons.

I can forecast snow instead or rain off of my nose. There have been times when the temperature was too warm for snow, but I smelled it anyway so I dropped my temperature and forecasted an inch of snow and we got it. My station was the only one to forecast snow that day.
