Start brushing your teeth with a half teaspoon of baking soda and the same amount of hydrogen peroxide (the 3% household variety) and you will see results in 3 days!

Be extremely careful when you have braces and try to whiten your teeth. The ingredients in a lot of over the counter teeth whiteners can cause oversensitivity in teeth and can possibly make it worse in those who have fillings, braces, partials, etc.
Use a toothpaste with baking soda and peroxide. Wait until your braces are removed before using any type of whitener. Possibly even ask your orthodontist or dentist. They can recommend products that will not wear the enamel out on your teeth.

I have seen serious whitening on my own teeth by consistently using a rinse consisting of 1/2 hydrogen peroxide solution and 1/2 water after brushing and flossing. Be careful not to swallow the solution and rinse well after gargling.
There are also dental molds that can be used with a whitening formula at night while you sleep but I havent tried those.
Many toothpastes have peroxide in them as a whitening agent so the peroxide mix is a good bet. read label instructions and follow them too please.
Baking soda can also be used to brush teeth with and will likely result in whitening as a result too.
Topol toothpaste is a good bet too.

only brushing can not whiten teeth.
Commercial tooth whiteners use hydrogen peroxide and
are expensive and inconvenient. A cheap and natural
tooth whitening home remedy uses few strawberries
but certain precautions have to be taken.

All i can say is do not use pearl drops because i had a friend who used that and it stripped the enamel of her teeth it ruined her teeth. They turned grey no kidding. you only get one coating of enamel for life so use something safe ask your dentist he will tell you what is safe and easy on the wallet.
