SLEEP WITH THE WINDOW CRACKED A LITTLE TO ALLOW FRESH AIR TO GET INTO THE BEDROOM. NEXT TAKE A SHOWER AND THEN HAVE A GOOD BREAKFAST AND I BET YOU WILL FEEL LIKE A MILLION DOLLAERS THEN. BUT YOU SHOULD INSURE THAT YOU GET YOUR EIGHT HOURS IN THE SACK ALSO

If you want to get up at an early hour and still have the energy you need without feeling like s-h-i-t, the first thing you need to do a night before is to at least have about 7 hours of sleep; preferably 8 and a half hours. Not only do you need it for energy, but so you can function well the whole day.
If you're a total coffee-addict, instead of taking 2 cups a day, try 1 every other day, or stick to decaf. Coffee has the same up-down effect as sugar; so you may be hyper and full of energy when you take it, but after the hours you'll feel drowsy again.
Also, try getting some exercise. It can be walking, jogging, or cardio...whatever it is, a little daily exercise has been clinically proven to risen up your sleeping hours to 25% of your regular sleeping habits.
All those things work; no sleeping pills or anitibiotics will help you sleep better and get up refreshed as good as the natural ways.

Wake up the same time every morning, if you want to sleep in on the week ends, bad idea
Your body is used to rutine wake up at the same time
When you wake up eat right away, eat a big breakfast, it will get your matebolism going
then do laundry.... yeah i've done that the past two days and i am energized baby!

Wake up and tell yourself it will be a good day. Take a shower while your coffee is perking. Drink a glass of V8 or orange juice.
You just are not a morning person, neither am I. A job that begins at 7:30 am will definitely wake you up and get you going. Good lucik.

I remember there are some 'body clock' alarm clocks which have a light that gets gradually brighter to simulate a sunrise. This is supposed to be a more natural way to wake and therefore less aggrevating than a bell. I haven't tried it myself, but if all the other suggestions fail, maybe you ought to look into it!

I always feel like that too, like I have hardly slept. I usually feel a bit better after a shower and actually drinking a pint of water first thing in the morning helps alot.

The only way I can is caffeine. Then a shower just a tad on the cool side. I have a bad morning every morning unless I get this.

So What ! We all don't feel like doing what we don't want to do..........welcome to the real world. You know you have to get up so do it. Wait till you have kids and your alarm is a crying baby, your late for work, diaper needs to be changed on the second one, your wife is still in the shower, no one went to the bank to get daycare money, you all get into the car for work, daycare and school but the car won't start.
Now.............don't your life sound real simple ?

Play your favorite up beat music the one that you cant listen to and not dance. Think about how glad you are that you woke up that morning and did not die in your sleep, cause some people didn't make it. That should do it.
