Where is a good place to live in Cornwall????

Question

I'm looking at buying a plot of land in Cornwall for a self build - where would you say is a good area to bring up 2 kids and run a business?

Do you know any good places to look for plots of land for sale? Most web sites want a subscription fee but there must be a good free alternative.

Business wise I run a few internet based business' so local economy isn't a major factor (although I'll want the kids to have opportunities when they grow up)

Mostly I'm looking for a safe, beautiful, interesting place for he family.

Stay away from the obvious tourist/holiday places, your life would be idyllic in the winter and unbearable in the summer. As far as your children are concerned there is now a university down there and hopefully the economy will improve and business`s will locate there, and provide jobs so that the educated young people can stay down there if they want to.It can`t happen soon enough.I love Cornwall, Newquay is super for surfing, but I would hate to have to earn a living in the county.

what will your business be?
