I doubt that they will re-sign Trot. Also Loretta probably will want more than the one year the Sox are willing to offer him. They are not impressed with Alex Gonzalez's bat, but he can field. They are shopping for a closer. Good luck

Personally I do like the red sox, and I think you should take a-rod from NY as long as steinbrenner pays 95% of his salary.

I think they should not trade any of the starters, and they should try to get a free agent starting pichers. Someone like Zito.

There's always the Manny issues so who knows if he'll stay or leave. They need to get some relief pitching, so I would think you might not see too many huge names being moved around. Maybe some bench players or something.
