I attended one year of college then found out i was pregnant. It was a hard decision to make especially since my whole family had attended college and was successful. It was my choice and I had to live with it not anyone else!

When my son was born I looked into vocational schools, something that I could acheive some kind of success in. I found a Massage Therapy program researched it and went up to the school. I ended up really loving it and have been doing it for two years. You can really make money in other ways than having a college degree just do some research and find something you cn enjoy. Even call a local college and see if they have certification programs most do and the programs are normally no longer than a year and you don't have to take prerequisites!!

Good luck I hope you find your path.

I am a college dropout. Afterwards I worked in construction and then telemarketing, and then retail management.

Now I run my own property management business making a high 6-figure income while some of my old acquantences from college who studied to be doctors, lawyers, accountants, and teachers are still working at Burger King. Some of them even became professional students and are still living at home with their parents.

So I would agree that college is not for everyone but if you have the opportunity to go, you ought to go for at least an entire year to determine if this is something that you want.

IT IS POSSIBLE TO DROP OUT OF COLLEGE AND BE SUCCESSFUL. MY HUSBAND DROPPED OUT OF COLLEGE AND HE HAS A SALES JOB AND A SALARY OF 65000. I ALSO DID NOT FINISH MY DEGREE AND HAVE A 50,000 JOB. THIS IS IN NEW ENGLAND. HOUSES SELL HERE FOR 299,000 IN MY OPINION AS THE AVERAGE.
COLLEGE IS NOT FOR EVERYONE. THINK ABOUT A TRADE OR TECHNICAL SCHOOL.
JOIN A UNION BECOME A SKILLED CRAFTMEN.
START NETWORKING ASK EVERYONE WHAT THEY DO FOR WORK, AND HOW TO GET STARTED .TRY DIFFERNET FIELDS.
LOOK T OFOR FRIENDS, FAMILY AND NEIGHBOR. WHAT DO THEY DO? WOULD YOU LIKE TO DO IT? ASK THEM FOR HELP OR WHO TO CONTACT.
SCHOOL IS NOT FOR EVERYONE, BUT MY TIME SPENT LIVING AT COLLEGE HAS TAUGHT ME VALUABLE LIFE LESSONS AND I LEARNED WHO I WANTED TO BE, NOT WHAT.
