These two numbers are close to each other. 4 games out of 5 is close to 3 games out of 4. One win is the difference between the two. So the result should be close to 1. Let's see if it is.


(4/5) / (3/4) = (4/5) x (4/3) = (4x4)/(3x5) = 16/15

Sure enough it is. The answer is one and a fifteenth, 16/15 or 1 1/15.

with fractions, remeber dividing by a fraction is the same as multiplying by the fraction turned upside down
