Artist: Angels
Song: My Boyfriend's Back
Album:

(Spoken:)
He went away
And you hung around and bothered me every night
And, when I wouldn't go out with you
You said things that weren't very nice

My boyfriend's back, and you're gonna be in trouble
(Hey la, hey la, my boyfriend's back)
When you see him comin', better cut on the double
(Hey la, hey la, my boyfriend's back)
You've been spreadin' lies that I was untrue
(Hey la, hey la, my boyfriend's back)
So look out now, 'cause he's comin' after you
(Hey la, hey la, my boyfriend's back)

Hey, he knows that you've been tryin'
And he knows that you've been lyin'

He's been gone for such a long time
(Hey la, hey la, my boyfriend's back)
Now, he's back, and things will be fine
(Hey la, hey la, my boyfriend's back)
You're gonna be sorry you were ever born
(Hey la, hey la, my boyfriend's back)
'Cause he's kind of big and he's awful strong
(Hey la, hey la, my boyfriend's back)

Hey, he knows I wasn't cheatin'
Now, you're gonna get a beatin'
What made you think he'd believe all your lies?
You're a big man now, but he'll cut you down to size
Wait and see!

My boyfriend's back; he's gonna save my reputation
(Hey la, hey la, my boyfriend's back)
If I were you, I'd take a permanent vacation
(Hey la, hey la, my boyfriend's back)

Hey, I can see him comin'
Now, you better start a-runnin'

*instrumental*

Wait and see!

My boyfriend's back; he's gonna save my reputation
La, hey la, my boyfriend's back
La, hey la, my boyfriend's back

Many of the problems you may be facing could be just the tip of the iceberg on what is really happening in your marriage. I dont mean to scare you but many problems when they either first show up or if they keep reoccurring could be just whats showing from a larger problem that either you or your spouse cannot even see. One of the only things you can do to help is to talk honestly and openly with each other in the marriage. If things become more serious more serious options need to be looked at as possibilities. I have a blog that has more information on some of what I've been writing about. If you feel like checking it out I would completly suggest it. Read here https://tr.im/C4dEa

Love is a choice that is made everyday when you wake up and every night when you go to sleep. Some days you may not feel the original feeling but love isnt a feeling or an emotion. Its an action a verb. Falling out of love may just mean you need to spice things up a little or that you were never in love in the first place. Don't just get out of a marriage just because you don't think you like the person anymore.

My Boyfriend's Back -- The Angels

Year: 1963
Position: #1
Label: Smash

Abraham Lincoln High School in Brooklyn was fertile ground for musicians and singers. Neil Sedaka and the Tokens went there. So did songwriter/producer Bob Feldman. Bob graduated in 1958 and moved across the East River to Manhattan, where he became a staff writer for April-Blackwood Music. But five years later he heard that the Sweet Shoppe across the street from Lincoln High, his favorite hangout in the '50s, was being torn down. So he went back for a last look. "While I was there", Feldman recalls, "an altercation started between a young girl and a hoody-looking young man with a leather jacket and a great D.A. [duck's-*** hairstyle]. She was pointing a finger at him and screaming "My boyfriend's back and you're gonna be in trouble. You've been spreading lies about me all over school and when he gets ahold of you, you're gonna be sorry you were ever born. "

Angel sings this version....

My Boyfriend's Back

He went away, and you hung around
And bothered me, every night
And when I wouldn't go out with you,
You said things that weren't very nice.

My boyfriend's back, and there's gonna be trouble
(Hey la, hey la, my boyfriend's back)
When you see him comin', better cut out on the double
(Hey la, hey la, my boyfriend's back)
He's been straight in life, while I was untrue
(Hey la, hey la, my boyfriend's back)
So look out now, cause he's comin' after you
(Hey la, hey la, my boyfriend's back)

(Hey, he knows that you've been tryin')
(And he knows that you've been lyin')

He's been gone for such a long time
(Hey la, hey la, my boyfriend's back)
Now he's back and things are real fine
(Hey la, hey la, my boyfriend's back)
You're gonna be sorry you were ever born
(Hey la, hey la, my boyfriend's back)
Cause he's kinda big and he's awful strong
(Hey la, hey la, my boyfriend's back)

(Hey, he knows I wasn't cheatin'
Now, you're gonna get a beatin')

What made you think he'd believe all your lies, wahoo... wahoo...
You're a big man now but he'll cut you down to size, wahoo... wahoo...
Wait and see!

My boyfriend's back, he's gonna save my reputation
(Hey la, hey la, my boyfriend's back)
If I were you I'd take a permanent vacation
(Hey la, hey la, my boyfriend's back)

Yeah, my boyfriend's back... (etc til fade)

That was by the 60's group " The Angels" . One of my favorite songs of that decade. "My boyfriends back and you're gonna be in trouble, hey la day la, my boyfriends back,
My boyfriends back, gonna save my reputation, hey la, day la, my boyfriends back................." Oh yeah, great song.
