Vinatieri has missed several weeks now, and was supposed to play again this week. But he still isn't healthy enough to play. Should I drop him or wait to see what happens?

i'd drop him and find another strong kicker. he's only good for extra points anyway, specially with the colt's offense. pick a team that actively use their kickers.

For the guy that stated that someone in his league dropped Vinatieri for Stover was a bad move hasn't watched much football. That's a brilliant move because the guy that got Stover got a consistent kicker while he was still available. The key to fantasy football is "what have you done for me lately?"

Anyone who thinks the dropping of Vinatieri is a bad move would hesitate to drop Culpepper for Carr or Grossman because Daunte had a great season 2 years ago. The past is the past.

I bet Robbie Gould was still available after week 2 or 3 and now you're "kicking" (pun intended) yourself because Gould got 19 points this week while Vinatieri, again, got nothing. Even more so, let's think about the injury. Vinatieri is a kicker with a leg injury. hmmmmmmmmmm..... Could that be a problem for the rest of the season? Yep!

Cut bait NOW and get someone useful while you still can.

I think it depends on who you would drop him for, and who is your current kicker. The difference, in fantasy leagues, in kickers is pretty small. Just because he's a great kicker doesn't mean he'll get many chances. If you have a solid kicker, I think he's expendable, if there is a good pickup on the wire.

I'd Keep him too....not only is he a good kicker, but Indy gets in the red zone alot...so there is lots of opportunity for scoring....someone in my league dropped him for Stover cuz Stover had so many points....I thought that was a huge mistake!!

I would wait. He may play for the Colts now (I'm a Patriots fan) but he is still a good kicker
