When I'm talking about colleges and stuff, I don't understand what an undergraduate is. Is it a good thing or what? What's the difference between the two if you're majoring in business?

"Undergraduate" is when you are getting a 4-year Bachelor's degree. "Graduate" is when you are seeking advanced education in an area of study after you have already gained a Bachelor's degree.

For instance, when you are attending college for a Bachelor's degree in physics, you are called an "undergraduate" student. After you get that degree and then go back to college to study more to get a Master's degree in physics, you are called a "graduate" student.

Undergraduates are students at university that have not yet received their first degree and are either applying to do a undergraduate course or are studying one.

Graduates are students that have received a degree and are either going to go on to a graduate course to follow up to the degree that they already have or are going to get a job with their degree.

No affects in businesses, but the point is that a graduate will have completed the degree whilst an undergraduate hasnt yet.

The first four years of college are your undergraduate years, it is when you are attaining the a Bachelors. When you graduate from your bachelors and go onto a Masters degree then you are a graduate student. The difference has nothing to do with your major, it has to do with what level of a degree you are going for.
First- Bachelors (4 yrs)
Second - Masters (yrs depend)
Third - Doctorate

A graduate degree is any degree that requires more education than a Bachelor's degree. So... graduate degrees are usually as the Master's (e.g. MBA) or Doctoral level.

An undergraduate degree is a Bachelor's in Arts or a Bachelor's in Science, generally.

An undergraduate is still working on a bachelor's degree.

A graduate is finished with the bachelor's degree. Classes that count towards a degree higher than a bachelor's are considered graduate classes.
