Sometimes the most unbelievable excuse is the easiest to believe i got a teacher to believe a dog ate my homework because people always use it as an excuse so if you act sensear and can stop your self from laughing or smiling your grand. A books different do dogs don't eat does. Say that when you were on your way to school your bag burst open and when you were putting your books back in a group of teenagers walked past and took one of your books and ran and that they were to fast for you. When your telling the teacher tell him/her slowly don't rush it and keep a straight face and that should work as long as you stick to your story.

First .. try to locate the book... it has to be someplace...

Retrace your steps... do you have a sister or brother that may have taken it as a joke?

How bout a friend who took it on Fri home?

THEN tell your MOM.. ask her what to do..

Finally be honest with your teacher... if you lie and make excuses your teacher will forever assume you are lying everytime something comes up...

It sucks but you have to be honest and ask your teacher for help..ask them what should you do...
They will admire your honesty and want to help you.

Good Luck

Just show them the following message:

I've stolen your school book and you won't get it back until you give me all of your lunch money for a week. If you tell a teacher I'll also shred your homework which I've also stolen.

Hope this works.

try telling the truth. i often lose things, and it always turns out better if you told the truth in the first place. for example, if you said you'd left it on the bus, and were very very sorry, blah blah blah... how embarrassing would it be if someone handed it in to your teacher in a couple of days time? you'd look silly, and people would know you'd lied. tell the truth - it cant be that bad, people lose things all the time!

I don't think you lost your school book - I think you shredded it on the bus and used it to wipe your .....nose. Your teacher is far more interested in seeing your homework than she could ever be in the fate of your textbook. Borrow your buddies book to get your homework done.

Are you really trying to tell us that you are so utterly dense that you can't see that school is incorrectly spelt?
I wouldn't bother with an excuse, I would imagine your teacher has lost any hope of teaching you anything.

Tell your teacher you accidently left it in the room in the last lesson that you had and you wondered if they had seen it in their room. Pretend to look for the book in the room and then just say you cant find it!!

Please be honest with your teacher and don't make excuses. Accept the consequences and learn from them.

If you are truly repentant and apologetic am sure your teacher will be understanding.

Good Luck.
