Short answer: no. You need either an up-converter, or a down converter. I'm not sure which. I would suggest consulting a local gaming store in the UK before you travel here. Also, there will be plenty of sources for this in your country, at electrical or electronic stores.

When you purchase the USA Wii, you should be able to play it in the UK with the necessary equipment.

Yes you will be able to play in both countries assuming you buy a power converter. Theyre available at any department store, I bought mine at a target when I went on a trip to the UK and it worked perfectly.

it will work but you need a new ac power cord for the uk
