I lived as an aid worker in a Romanian orphanage and I realised after really seeing a country on its knees, that I grew up in a heavenly country!

We are so lucky in the UK and it is a shame so many of us cannot see it.

At least the 'wallies' in government tried to change the world even if they failed! That's much more courageous than moaning and doing nothing!

This country didn't need Blair to help ruin it, even though he supported Bush going into Iraq. We already had a perfectly good idiot behind the wheel.

Yes I do! The Labour Party has lost its way, our constitutional arrangements are broken and the gap between the political elite and the country grows ever wider. At the same time, Britain has become more unequal, violent and unhappy. And the world is in desperate trouble. The situation in the Middle East will get worse, and global warming threatens massive disruption.

do you think theres anyone else who could or would do a better job? david cameron wouldn't be any different or better. dont get me wrong. i'm no fan of blair but there isnt really anyone who would do anything different. all politicans are frightened to bring in the policies that would really fix the nation because they wouldnt go down well with the public. they wouldnt be reelected. they would be out of a job. simple as

Depends whether you think they've spent the money wisely. Yes, things like the NHS are better but you have to question whether it's value for money. If it was a private business someone would be accountable and that's the entire problem with government.

No, not even close.
They have put right many of the ills created by 18 years of Tory mismanagement, but unfortunately created a few of their own - most notably, tuition fees, war in Iraq and the ridiculous idea of ID cards.

Don't thing they've ruined it, they have just carried on Ma Thatcher's policies in a humanised form and made the world a more dangerous place. Thank God the weaselly little b*****d is going though. I might feel able to vote Labour again.
