I don't know, but I might have to conduct my own research and experiments. But where o where will I find a guinea pig?!?!?

It's no worse than most of the other "drugs" out there. All drugs, whether legal or not, have side effects. Marijuana should be legalized because it's going to be used by people either way. Why crowd prisons with "weed" offenders? Plus, the government could make a killing off of sin taxes associated with it. One thing is for sure and is inarguable: tobacco and alcohol are legal and they are responsible for millions of deaths. Since marijuana is completely natural anyway, people should be able to decide for themselves as to whether or not they want to use it.

It's not the first time a case has been made for medical marijuana. It's been prescribed for some cancer patients over
the past few years. If a way can be found to use the THC content
in marijuana leaves to alleviate the suffering of cancer or Alzheimer's patients, then why not?

Every drug a has a useful purpose. I think it should be legal for medicinal purposes like improving appetite in cancer patients and as an antianxiety med. The crux is in if you abuse it or not. Do you smoke it and drive or try and take care of your kids? That's bad. But so is getting drunk or taking Xanax and doing those same things. Everything in moderation.

the basis for the illegality of marijuana has it's foundations in political, racial, and industrial reasonings.
While it is a CNS depressant, it is no more dangerous than alcohol and should not be considered illegal..
Is it a good idea to abuse marijuana? no.
and, while it shouldn't be, it is still illegal and you are risking prosecution if caught.
