but it is too big, is there a way i can make it burn what will fit and just prompt me to put a new disc in to finish the burn? the audio file is in MP3 format.

Okay, there IS a way to do this ... a couple of ways even.

First, if the file is less than 700MB, you can burn it as a data disk rather than an audio disk. It may or may not play on players other than a computer ... I have had mixed results.

Second, in an audio editor, you can open the file, split it manually where ever needed, and save each portion seperately, then burn them as audio CD's.

no....the cd needs to finalize or it will be useless and wont play at all..there is a way to do it but you need dvd burner and it wont play on a regular mp3 player
