Well, there's more work in Dismal but the cost of living is significantly lower in Boring. Dismal does have seasons but Boring is greener. Have you looked into Dumbbass, Colorado? You get the best of both worlds and the fishing is great!

Hey! I live in Oregon it isn't THAT boring just slightly. ^-^ Anyways Oregon is nice and depending where you move you'll either be surrounded by hippies or Rednecks. Of course there are other types of people(me). That's just the majority.

if you are moving for a better place to live you shouldn't move to a place you know you aren't going to like. if you have to move and have no way out of it, i sure you could make friends and have a better time at oregon than you think. if you think you are going to be lonely, on moving day, people WILL watch you move in and you can go and introduce yourself and then things will change.
