For advice about routers and anything like that go into a maplin store - but they don't actually sell computers! But their technical guys are good. Aria do sell computers and you can become a member of their forum and get advice on there. Lucy runs the forum - and you also get emails with specials from both companies. Maplin will give you free delivery over £35 and discount vouchers. £3 off on £35 order plus free delivery. If all else fails go to my website and email me! lol

.
Try this

Ping the computers to each other to see if they see each other.
If not
The problem may not be in the router, but may be in another component/node in the network.
Make sure each has updated drivers.
Sometimes when making hardware changes, a "driver" can just fart.
In my case it was the last item on my networking path, my NIC card.

Get the name of your item, from Device Manager:
Right click MyComputer > Properties>
tab Hardware > button Device Manager
--Scroll down and right click your network item you want to update the driver.

and go to the MANUFACTURER site > download the latest "driver" for that item to your desktop > install the downloaded driver > restart your computer.

Remember to map the drives on each pc, if you want them to "see" each others files; and on each pc change the specific files "sharing" security settings.
If you just want to be able for each computer to have internet access, mapping is not essential.
