Is it? I think so, but I'm not 100% sure.

Hydrogen is a gas, so yes that gas can be used up. But, we have ways to make hydrogen (seperating water into oxygen and hydrogen). Actually, in places with a lot of thermal energy (Nova Scotia I believe) they are looking to use the thermal enrgy as power to create hydrogen.

Energy as you put it can not be created or destroyed, just transfered from one form to another. But i think what you mean is by letting it react with oxygen in order to get an explosion and to extract some of the energy of the explosion and would then give you water, with other processes you can reverse this and end up with H and O2 again, so I would say yes. That is if i remember correctly, been a while since i did chemistry. c",)

Hydrogen isn't energy. It's a gas. I can be exhaustable if fussion is used, that's why stars die.
