What were some good things about Ancient Persian Military and bad thing about the Ancient Assyrian Military

The Assyrians were just as brutal as the armies were at that time--the Persians shouldn't be classified as "good" anymore as the Assyrian military should be. The Assyrians conquered many lands and even had their slaves work for the crown. Don't forget that the Assyrians--Mesopotamians, are responsible for the inventions of the wheel, lens, glass, number 0, first written language, sandals, lock and key, irrigation system, and many more important innovations. The ancient Assyrians should not be looked at negatively, they were just as "brutal" as the Romans but are considered vile--unfair.

The Assyrians were brutal and cruel. They were feared and rightly so. They were called the city of Bloodshed.
