I believe that personally they do, i have a great relationship with a teacher and we can talk about anything, including the things that i would only normally discuss with true friends so i believe that if you can get along with a teacher in a good way that they are good mates. It has no affect that they are a teacher as really they are just the same as anybody else.

No. I am a teacher- if you ask my husband, I'd wager that I'm a terrible mate. I am bossy, know lots and lots of useless information , am perpetually exhausted and always want to tell you what to do. I just can't help it.

Well One of my buds from High School is a teacher. He's on divorce 2nd in 5 years.

I have plenty of friends who are teachers, and their marriages are working out great!!!!!
I am a former substitute teacher, and I enjoyed relationships as well. So (call me bias) but yes they do...depending on their personality.
