I loved the show. It's hard to pick a favorite character; they were all so well played. Michael Landon could make you smile and laugh, then turn around and make you cry your eyes out. At the time, I identified first with Mary, then as she grew, Laura. ONE of my favorite shows is when Laura met Almanzo and put cayenne pepper on the paprika chicken Nelly "cooked" when he was invited to dine with her. Another favorite is when Mr. Olsen's sister, "the fat lady" comes to town with the circus. I too, found the Sylvia episodes much too intense and sad. As I watch now, I admire Caroline's character. Caroline is so loving, stedfast, and loyal.

I LOVE Little House:) It's my all time favorite tv show.
I have watched since I was little and own all of the dvd's.
My favorite character was Mary, but I also loved Laura, Adam, Harriet and of course Nellie!
Charles and Caroline were great too. Everyone was great really! It was one of those shows where it's hard to pick a fav.
My all time favorite episode was "I'll Be Waving As You Drive Away"..the one where Mary goes blind.
I also liked The Pilot Movie. I think seasons 4, 5 and 6 were my favs.

i do no longer understand what season it is from. My well-liked episode is the single the place Mr. Edwards supplies the ladies a cup as a Christmas present. and that they say, "Now we don't could share." That show makes me cry each and every time I watch it. it quite is not important if it quite is a tragic episode or a satisfied episode. I nonetheless cry. I additionally like the episode the place Laura and Nellie are struggling with interior the creek and that they get that black dirt throughout them.

I love the show, and I watch it every morning and night. I dont know which episode would be my favorite. They are all so good. Ive seen the one you hate, it IS sad, huh?
I would have to go with the one where Laura and Almonzo lose their little girl and at the end, they find the woman who took her and her little girl is fine. It was so sad, but so rewarding at the end.
As far as a favorite character, I would have to say Charles, cuz hes so fine, and what a great actor he was!

I always wished men were more like Charles Ingles. I hated the episode when Charles baby son died. It was so sad. Also when Mary went blind.

Used to but don't like it now as it makes me sad knowing Pa is dead in real life.
A great man lost...
I loved all of the shows, especially the ones showing great, unconditional family love, which were all!!!!

I myself was Daddy's little girl so I could relate.
That mean ole Nellie I couldn't stand!

I like Charles Ingalls.My favorite one is about the Wild Dogs..That was sad and well acted.
