I'm almost 8 months pregnant now and the first flutters of life i started to feel have gone from crickets in my tummy to soccer kicks to belly rolls, and now rib jabs! i know this is normal but question is how do you get any sleep when the baby is so active?

well pretty much, YOU DONT, im sorry honey, but your about to have a baby and you've made it 8 months in so only a little bit longer and you can sleep as long as you want, (as long as someone is watching your baby while your snoozing away)

I used to get rib jabs too where I would say ouch because it was so strong. Consider the lack of sleep being preparation for when the baby comes. Try taking naps during the day when the baby might be asleep in your tummy too. Good luck!

Hi
The last month was always the hardest on me with both my kids. Only advice I can share with you is to sleep(nap) when your baby is quiet and sleeping. Also, try to not sleep on your back and elevate your feet a little higher than your heart for quick cat naps.
Good luck to you and your baby.

You more than likely are not going to be able to rest. But you should at least try by rubbing your belly softly because its going to be a lot harder to get some rest when your bundle of joy arrives. Because then it will be almost impossible to keep getting rest, Its gonna wear you and your babys father out trust me i know.

I'm about as far along as you and my sleeping habits have become waiting about an hour to fall asleep, waking up, rolling over, going back to sleep and repeating. Lol.

You don't LOL. When you are still that is when the baby is awake and does all it's moving. When you are up and moving around that is when your little one is asleep (you know your moving rocks the baby to sleep). Enjoy it's almost over.

Maybe You Should Just Relax. So The Baby Can Relax To?

Sorry to say, but NOT GONNA HAPPEN!!!! But you should just be happy to have an active baby. This is a good sign that it is healthy!!! I used to wake up to it ALL THE TIME.

when you're awake and moving around, that is when the baby is sleeping, because the movement puts the baby to sleep. when you're sleeping, the baby is awake.

if you cant handle not sleeping now...just wait till the baby comes...you're never gonna sleep!
