could we maybe put in our own DVD burner into the Macbook?I got myself the 1,83GHz macbook and was wondering about the diffrence between the 1,83 and the 2,0 model. Is it really that much diffrence? i dont use the comp so much just for surfing the net and maybe a little gaming. is it sufficient? I dont want a real slow computer though! could we upgrade it? and could we fix in our own CD burner into the 1,83GHz model?..

is the CD and DVD burner really important?.

Yeah, you can burn CDs with the Combo drive. If you plan on making DVDs with iDVD, you'll want a DVD burner. The 2GHz model will be a little faster, but the 1.83GHz is pretty fast, itself. I, myself, have a 1.6GHz Core Duo and it's quite speedy. I think you can upgrade to a SuperDrive on the Apple website when you order it. I don't know if it's swappable. Call Apple.
