I will be staying Cancun and plan to visit Chichen Izta but is it worth it to also visit Tulum

Chichen Itza is far bigger/better and you might be disapointed if you go to Tulum afterward. The architecture is far more impressive blending Toltec and Mayan influences. Chichen Itza is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. So it is one of only 830 sites in the world with this honor including the Statue of Liberty and Great Wall of China. It may be "touristy" but its really impressive.

You can bet on it! Actually, some tour operators will offer you all day trips visiting Tulum and Xel Ha. Both are great places. If you like archaeological sites and Cristal clear white sand beaches, go for it!
