Were you overweight to begin with? I was and I lost 16 pounds during my pregnancy and didn't gain any back until the last two months where I gained back the full 16 but lost 32 pounds two weeks after my daughter was born. I ate really healthy foods when I was pregnant and that's why I lost weight. I was monitored by my doctor the entire time.

i wouldnt worry i was very small with both my daghters and the doctors where always worriying, both my girls where born on time and healthy, i was just small for dates, i was only a size 8 before and around 8 stone, though in the very last weeks i did gain around a stone, so by the end of my pregnancys i had gained about one and a half stone, though i still had tiny bumps. I gained the extra weight around 35 -6 weeks. I would ask for a scan to be on the safe side i was given these as baby also seemed small, and if that comes back fine, just enjoy your pregnancy and you will have less to lose once baby born,. P.S my girls where 5ibs 12 and 6 ibs 11 and 18 inches long. I am only 5 foot 3 and hubby is 5 7

Do you feel movement and is your belly still getting bigger? Sometimes our weight just moves around and goes where it needs to for pregnancy. If the Dr. says that the baby is not as big as they should be, then he should do more tests. If he hasn't then I would deffinitly go get a 2nd opinion. I loved my Dr. but he didn't believe me when I said something was wrong with my baby at 32 weeks. I had to make him understand that a mother knows when something is wrong, and I have a healthy 2 year old now, because I made him listen to me! My point is, if you think something is not right, go on that! You are already a good mom for being concerned! Good luck! :)

You are typically supposed to gain at least 35 lbs through your entire pregnancy. I gained over 60 with mine. Losing weight is not a good thing when you are pregnant. If you are concerned, maybe seeing a Nutritionist would be a good. They will tell you the proper foods to eat to ensure that you and baby are getting what you both need. If you are 30 weeks preggo, you should be gaining more.

I had the same problem with 3 of my 4 pregnancies. I just sort of plateaued about 28 weeks. If your doc is concerned, he should do an ultrasound to check that all systems are go so to speak. Try not to worry too much. Every body and pregnancy are different. Best wishes for you and your new addition!

Your headin toward the end of your pregnancy when you will gain most of your weight because the baby will be putting on weight. I wouldnt worry about it so much if the doctor says your fine. If you want to gain weight then I would eat things like eggs, yogurt, milkshakes, cheese and pasta and potatos. My weight gain was different with each of my pregnancies. And you may of lost weight due to hormone changes and loss of appatite or maybe your routine changed.

So long as your baby is on track and gaining weight you have nothing to worry about. With both of my pregnancies I lost 20 pounds and didn't put on any weight until the last month. As long as Dr says baby is healthy don't worry, YOU WILL EVENTUALLY PACK ON THE POUNDS.
