A rhombus... because it looks like a square that got stepped on by an elephant. That seems to describe my life up to a point. I always tried to keep everything neat and tidy; balanced, with all sides equal. It was hard work being me. Then an elephant named Reality came along and squashed me. I've never been able to get completely back to being a perfect square...and I'm so glad. It's more relaxed and fun being a little bent.

line segment AB measures 10 inches. It is completely parallel to the hroizon. line segment BC is 1 inch. It slopes downward tremendously. line segment CD is 3 inches. It is slowly sloping upward. line segment DE is 1/8 of an inch. It is sloping upward steeply. I bet you can guess the relativity of this.

I'm a octagon. Life goes down hill, life goes up hill, and sometimes it's going straight.

It's an octavarium- cluttered with mazes and extra-dimensional complexities- and sometimes I do end up right where I started.

I don't know why but when I first read your question, a triangle came to mind, so I am going to stick with triangle.

My life seems to be running in circles, so I'll go with that - a circle.
