your local paper probably has a website. there should be a place thats named "archive" or something like that. you also should be able to search articles by date.

Search for your local paper. You may have to sign on but mostly it is free. Search the archives - most are around 6 - 10 years back..............

Log in to your local newpaper web site. You may or may not need to purchase a one month subscription "online" to do this.
Most all newspapers have a chronological archive; you only need to know the approximate date to search.
Or you may be able to find older articles by a keyword, depending on how their web site is set up.

You can't. Old newspapers, pre 1985, are not digital so they would have to retype every newspaper and put it online. Most can't afford to do this.
