The Mets are slowly reversing the age-old thinking that starting pitching is relevant. I heard they might trade Pedro, Glavine, El Duque and Maine and just go with an 11-man bullpen next season. But how far do you think they will advance in the playoffs this season?

LOL!

Well being a Mets fan I doubt that will happen. Honestly, I'm just happy they made it this far .. Further than those overrated Yankees. Nice job Detroit! LOL!

Let's see what happens. LET'S GO METS!

Yup!!! The Mets have certainly got a great bullpen. I've never heard the rumor that they might trade Pedro, Glavine, El Duque and Maine, though. Why would they? That'd be crazy!!! Anyway, tons of congrats to the Mets!!!! Hahahahahaha............. Let's Go Mets!!!!!!

Finally somebody acknowledges the Mets!!! The yankees are out/beaten/defeated. let the Mets and Met fans, enjoy the moment -- we don't get that many of them.

I am optimistically cautious that the Mets will get to the world series.
In 1973 the Mets and A's were in the series and Oakland won. I was at one of the playoff games in NY (against the Reds) bought my "You gotta Believe" button. I still have it and as a tribute to Tug, I think I will wear it.
