I really want this thing bad! At first I thought this was going to be a stupid thing coming out and now I'm actully excited. Problem is the only way to get it is for a christmas present and I can't reserve it. Will this be a hard thing to find like the nintendo ds was?

There will be a million consoles available at the launch day, which is far more than the 400,000 Playstation 3's that will be available (and the 550,000 Nintendo DS's that were available on its launch day). Still, I wouldn't dawdle--it's going to be a very popular alternative for those folks who can't find a PS3, and is seen by many gamers as a secondary platform to pick up *in addition* to owning a PS3 or Xbox 360.

it is already difficult to get. it is been between the favorite products on the marketplace for some year, and yuletide is in simple terms making the Wii frenzy even crazier. human beings nevertheless ought to camp out at shops while they open to get it. i'm extremely shocked that the Wii craziness has lasted this long. At this cost, i don't think of there is any thank you to wager while the Wii would be a generic sight on save cabinets.

With 1 million units at launch compared to the 400,000 PS3's it will be easier, but I would agree not to wait too long. I could see many desperate parents (or just parents that do not realize the differences) choosing the less expensive and more available Wii for their children.

some stores, like EB Games or Gamestop might be taking pre-orders. If you really want one, I'd give them a call to verify that they will take pre-orders. You can probably check the other big stores, like Best Buy or Circuit City.

no, I heard you'll pretty much be able to find them anywhere. It's the PS3's you'll have trouble finding. Even if you do have the $600 bucks to pay for one, good luck finding one.
