All media say "Cricket is a game of Eleven".I remember quotation long time back.A writer has expressed that Cricket is game played by Eeleven and watched by Eleven thousand fools.He called audience fols because they waste their precious time (A test match for 5 days)in watching the game(He mentioned only about the test matches as ODIs takes only 1 day)

You only see 22 players and 2 umpires in the field. But Cricket is a game of Hundreds of thousands of people. It is boring for people who don't know what it is to be a cricketer or a cricket lover. You cannot succeed merely with body strength or mind strength. You have to have both. And more importantly you have to have it for 5 days at a stretch. Unlike any other game you cannot take yur mind off it once you start the game or u lose. For a person who knows every movement in cricket it is better than any tv show.

The call football soccer and call a game football that the ball almost never touches the foot. With men feeling up the others ***(quarterback to the center) and men rubbing up against each other (some of those tackles are a little 2 friendly)
Cricket is called a gentlemans game, hence the lack of understanding by some.
How many sports in the world (aprt from football .. soccer for my American friends) that has the support that cricket does. When the world champions is being decided. It is not between two americans teams it is two International teams with supporters from all over the world..
By the way golf is played over 4 days.

My friend if you have the spirit of cricket you'd watch it for a month strait with out even leaving the stadium but you cannot say that its a boring game... if cricket is boring than every single sport is boring none matches up with cricket Baseball and other bat and ball sports arre all the copy of cricket if u like soccer then go watch it because it is a lame game of people kicking the ball around... Cricket is much more intresting and has variety of things that u can use to get ur opponent out rather than Scoring penlties over and over again... Cricket is a exciting game in the world and Fans would kill if any dare say such rubbish about it... its a Kings game and thats why its so sophisticated rednecks such as ur self and poor and uneducated people will never understand this beautiful game. They'd only go and watch People get hit and fall on each other like homosexuals wearing tighties! (american football)... Cricket is the best game in the world... Like any teacher would tell you "i'd only wish this book was longer" and so do i say it should be more than 20 days of cricket test match :) just kidding 5 days are also cool...!

Since people who do not mind wasting time and have no regret for the time wasted in watching cricket only see the cricket matches. Others either hear running commentary or watch the scores on line etc. If somebody is prepared to waste his time and not the time of any other person, how can you call him as a fool.

If watching cricket is to waste time than watching all other games is also wasting time. then there are many games in the world are the audiences of that games fools???? nope because we just have entertainment by watching cricket or other game.If having entertainment is wasting of time then every one who watching any movie or any type of entertainment is fools. But they are not.

actually it is that only those people who love cricket by heart and their heart beats with cricket go and watch test matches!!

I agree that the long version is boring but then again calling the spectators fools is foolish. Why watch anything at all? Golf, bowling, football, hockey, etc., etc. It is all a waste of time.
