People can recreate whatever they want, but neither of those events were very exciting. Couple of unarmed people getting shot during a riot.

This is a very, very good question. When it comes to America's current teenage generation, history is considered dull and boring. If fellow teenagers and young adults (myself included) could recreate history in a way that makes this new generation become enthralled with the past - then think of how much more educated the world would be! So, in that sense, my answer is yes. However, if you've ever heard of a place called Colonial Williamsburg - then go! It's a colonial city that exists almost exactly how it did nearly 300 years ago. I've been there several times - and let me tell you, it's one of the neatest experiences anybody can ever have. They always have re-enactments of everything imaginable on given days. So, events like the Boston Massacre have already been re-created and are being re-created. And not just with the revolutionary war- with the Civil War, too.
