no they cannot tell. unless it was done in the last week or two and they do a pregnancy test on you.

Yes they can tell. Just like most surgical procedures there is always some what of scaring and even with an abortion there is scaring on the walls of the uterus that visibal to the doc by exam or ultra sound. Orthe doc can just feel the scar tissue, but yes usually they can tell

If they can't tell, then it's very important that you do tell them. You should let them now everything that goes on down there - that way they can help you to the best of their ability. They are there to HELP you. If you don't tell them everything, they might misdiagnose you for a problem and you won't get the right treatment.

I don't know.. but... I think you should tell your ob/gyn if you HAVE had one. It's good for doctors to know your medical history.
