Saturday Night Live goes up and down ever few years, due to the writers and actors it is using. It started out great with John Belushi and Dan Ackrord and Lorraine Newman and in spite of the vastly overrated Chevy Chase. Over the years good people came and went, including Bill Murray, Eddie Murphy, Dana Carvey, etc. The cycle seems to run about three or four years good, three or four years bad, and then back again. Every several years there are one or two very bad seasons. Right now they are stuck in the mud again. Pretty bad acting and uninspired, tired writing.

That is the best comedy broadcast ever. As wonderful as the entire format is, I still thrill over the opening skit which ends in a loud, ". . . Saturday Night Live!!!" Gives me the joyfuls.

I love Weekend Update, the musical guests and some of the other skits but I haven't been impressed with this season so far.

I do but I maybe prefer Mad TV. My current favorites are Maya Rudolph and Horatio Sands. (I may have misspelled his last name but you know who I mean.)

The original shows seem so "dated", don't you think? But Gilda Radner, Dan Akyroyd, Bill Murray, John Belushi sure set a high standard.

sure! it is taken into consideration one of those shows who grew to develop into considered one of ¨usa's television Landmarks¨ relating to the subject material television sitcoms. i think of so, because maximum of its sketches are nicely-planned, show high quality paintings (even nevertheless a number of its content fabric could be profanity each and every so often) and it happens to be transmitted stay (a minimum of to the east Coast), which makes it much extra solid and its output extra remarkable. To sum up, it is something traditionally American. it quite is a competent thank you to show and positively chuckle on the subject concerns and on the humorous part of the U. S..
