Most "lower" organisms have what is called a diffuse nervous system. Instead of concentrating nervous control in the brain as we do, control of the body parts is given to clusters of nerve tissue spread throughout the body. Therefore each separate piece of the centipede has it's own nerve clusters sufficient to control that part of the body. Death won't come until one part of the body runs out of something only the other part can supply. Food for instance.

You mean the game? Becasue it is a game. And if you mean real life, the centipede runs maybe like 10 seconds and drops dead. We can see our heart being ripped out of our bodies and live maybe a few seconds afterward. It takes time for the organs and mind to die or realize it is dying/ dead.

Not sure about centipedes but I'm pretty sure a worm can be cut in half and the end with the head on it can grow a new tail but the old tail can't grow a new head. That would just be freaky...

coz this class of species...belonging to annelida...hav a special feature....dat the power of regeneration..

dey hav d capacity to regenerate d body parts.
