Try to ignore them as much as possible, sounds like they want or need to be in someone else's life because they don't have one of their own. Or you can get what you want/need out of them and throw them to the curb like yesterdays old diapers. I know bad choice of item but you get the point.

I usally tell them to find someone else to get in there life or fight till i win(I usally win cuz its not fair) to them
