as a republican, I want to have a democratic house and senate, as well as president in a few years. I will enjoy watching the democrats learn that the job is hard, and pleasing everyone is impossible. But part of me knows they will just keep blaming us for everything, cause that's all they can do.

Yup and Darth Cheney is their leader...

Cheney's fundraising visits often end up as fodder for opponents of those he tries to help. "Dick Cheney, Big Oil and Big Drug Companies Threw Curt Weldon a secret Washington thank you party," reads a Democratic brochure targeting the Republican Pennsylvania congressman.

"And Americans got stuck with the bill."

Let me put it this way absolute power corrupts and power corrupts absolutely.

Any government who is in for a long period of time begins to think they're ' entitled' to be there and will do and say almost anything to stay in power, but generally yes the GOP tends to do this when they get trapped , it's history go read it .

I think the Mark Foley scandal has shown that the Republicans are not the moral stalwarts that they've been preening about for the last 10 years. Their recent rantings reveal their hypocrisy and feet of clay.

I watch the news continuously, and haven't seen any conservatives ranting yet. They still act like ladies and gentlemen.
I have seen liberals screaming and yelling and putting on a real hypocrite show, to fool their ignorant and gullible supporters.

Ask the same question to yourself when you grow and realize how ignorant you are being now. Compassionate and caring? Come on!
